This piece is a cultural analysis, comparing motifs found in the New York 1990s hip hop scene. Specifically comparing Bad Boy Records and Wu Tang Clan. Through contrasting lyrical metaphors, I concluded Bad Boy and Wu-Tang prove that several realities can co-exist in one city.
